[Kaohsiung, Taiwan] Third week of March, another experience sharing session on Monday, March 16, 2020. The week’s topic is more interesting to students as social network is part of our daily lives. One of our teachers invited an ex-student as today’s speaker to share her experiences as a Youtuber and event planner.
.
Chen Xiao Han (陳筱涵), who earned a bachelor’s degree in Arts Management in 2018, presently works in Tainan. She is a multitasking person when it comes to planning and organizing activities, developing clear ideas, plans and opinions for her colleagues to expand the creative art of being a social influencer.
.
The way she spoke with her great sense of humor and enormous charm has convinced most of the students to express themselves as an audience. She claimed that successful marketing in business rests on effective communication skills. Great communication is the key to success in work in conveying a good message, she said but before that most significant is to
think before you speak.
.
Chen shared some experiences about the process of making graduation production titled as “gathering”. The most shocking part is that she told us they had not spent any money while making that. This tells us we must build up our connection with other people in different situations when we need help.
.
Making a good video is not easy at all. Chen taught us how to attract more viewers to watch our videos by defining a clear target audience starting from the age range and that a Youtuber requires a team. If your audience are teenagers, you should create some hilarious video or interesting topic will amaze them first, the ideal video length should also not be more than three minutes.
.
Lastly, good news coming soon! Our new student enrollment in Arts Management is going to begin soon. Chen is super willing to help advertising and promoting more students to study in this program by sharing some of her videos out there. The chair of the department of Arts Management, Ding Yi Zhen (丁亦真) always reminds the students that ‘our bright future depends on ourselves’ to help to change the world for the better.
